Andrea Josiah is a research and development scientist at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in South Africa, with a Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Johannesburg. She is currently pursuing her PhD, where her work focuses on developing advanced drug delivery systems for cancer treatment. Her research integrates Quantum and Classical mechanics methods to design innovative small-molecule drug conjugates, contributing to cutting-edge healthcare solutions. Andrea’s achievements include induction into the prestigious Golden Key International Honor Society, first prize at the South African Society for Microbiology in 2016, and multiple scholarship awards.
